Xi Wan is a Class of 2023 professional master’s degree candidate in Ophthalmology under the supervision of Professor Shuai Wang. Her research focuses on nanotechnology-based ocular drug delivery systems and their application in multi-target therapy for dry eye disease. She is leading a Liaoning Provincial Basic Research Program Outstanding Student Project (2024–2026, funding: ¥15,000) and has filed four patent applications, including one authorized invention patent and one design patent. She has been awarded the title of “Outstanding Graduate of Dalian City,” and her achievements include first and second prizes in the campus selection of the China International College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a second prize in the university-level “Challenge Cup” competition, and academic scholarships for two consecutive years.
