Shuai Wang Tri Lab

Jie Bai, female, a member of the Communist Party of China, an associate professor, a medical doctor, a postdoctoral fellow in residence, a young talent recognized as a “High-level Talent” in Dalian. Currently, she is mainly engaged in research related to immune inflammation and myocardial remodeling, aiming to integrate basic discoveries with clinical phenotypes to explore potential intervention targets and transformational application pathways. In recent years, she has published 35 SCI papers in mainstream cardiovascular journals such as European Heart Journal, Journal of Advanced Research, Hypertension, and American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology. She has led 1 project from the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Department, 1 project from the Education Department, 2 university-level projects, and has been a key member of 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects. The project “The Pathophysiological Mechanism of Chemokine/Adhesion Molecules Promoting Hypertension and Complications” won the second prize for scientific and technological progress in Dalian. In terms of academic appointments, she serves as a member of the Committee for Maternal and Perinatal Cardiac Diseases of the Chinese Research Hospital Society. In terms of teaching and talent cultivation, she has guided and led students to win: the national third prize for the 10th National College Students’ Life Science Competition (Scientific Inquiry Category), the provincial second prize; the provincial second prize for the 11th National College Students’ Medical Innovation Competition and the “Belt and Road” International Competition; the provincial third prize for the Liaoning selection of the 12th “Study and Innovation Cup” National College Students’ Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Simulation Competition.
