Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor Wei Huangzhao (Chemical Engineering): He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2008 and his Ph.D. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013 (supervisor: Researcher Sun Chenglin). Afterward, he continued working at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, serving successively as an associate researcher (2016) and a researcher (2022). For a long time, he has been dedicated to the controllable preparation and large-scale molding of nanocatalytic materials. To date, he has engaged in in-depth research for 17 years. He proposed a theory for the directional construction of catalyst structures tailored to high-temperature and high-pressure oxidation processes. He has led nearly 10 major research projects, including those under the National 863 and 973 Programs, as well as key R&D initiatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Additionally, he has engaged in scientific and technological collaborations with key countries along the “Belt and Road” initiative, such as Iran and Singapore. He holds 26 authorized invention patents, with a cumulative output value of 2.5 billion yuan. He has received several awards, including the Shandong Province Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Industry Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, the Environmental Technology Advancement First Prize issued by the China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, and the Dalian City Science and Technology Progress Second Prize.
